Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of a telecoms engineering and construction company with a strong reputation for expert problem-solving within the utilities contracting sector.

Our client is seeking one experienced and fully accredited 2-man Civils Dig Crew to carry out copper-to-fibre replacement works for Openreach across Sussex. This is a direct labour opportunity with immediate start available.

Key Duties

• Carry out box builds within the Openreach network.

• Complete core drilling and blockage clearance works.

• Undertake duct laying within residential areas.

• Perform hand rodding in the Openreach network.

• Operate plant machinery in line with accreditation and safety standards.

• Ensure all works are completed in accordance with Openreach and streetworks regulations.

Requirements

• Fully accredited 2-man team (Ganger and Labourer).

• Proven experience in telecoms civils and Openreach network works.

• NRSWA all modules - LA, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07.

• K008 - Hand Rodding in the Openreach network.

• Q013 - Modular Box Building (OR network).

• Q019 - Core Drilling (OR).

• Q020 - Blockages (OR).

• Q021 - Duct Laying (OR).

• NPORS or CPCS Digger Ticket.

• Smart Awards Card.

• 360 per day per 2-man crew (split between Ganger and Labourer, dependent on accreditations held).

• Van and tools supplied.

• Client will provide trailer and plant machinery.

• Ongoing work across Sussex.
