Role Overview
In this role, you will lead and support SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) initiatives including warehouse configuration, inbound/outbound logistics optimisation, and integration with S/4HANA and other SAP modules. You will work closely with global teams and business stakeholders to design scalable solutions and drive improvements across warehouse operations and logistics processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and optimise SAP EWM processes including inbound/outbound logistics, internal warehouse movements, and inventory management.
- Configure warehouse structures including warehouse numbers, storage types, sections, bins, and activity areas.
- Implement advanced warehouse processes such as POSC/LOSC, wave management, cross-docking, and kitting.
- Integrate SAP EWM with S/4HANA and other modules using CIF, IDOC, and qRFC mechanisms.
- Support RF frameworks and ITS Mobile configurations for warehouse device operations.
- Troubleshoot system issues including ABAP debugging and collaboration with development teams.
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and drive continuous improvement across warehouse processes.
- Support multi-site deployments and resolve plant-specific operational issues.
Skills & Experience
- 10-15 years of hands-on SAP EWM experience, including implementation and rollout programmes.
- Strong knowledge of SAP EWM logistics processes, inventory management, and warehouse configuration.
- Experience working with SAP S/4HANA environments and system integrations.
- Strong troubleshooting capability including ABAP debugging.
- Experience delivering solutions across global teams and multi-site environments.
Contract Details
- Duration: Initial 6 months
- Location: London (Hybrid 2 days a week on-site)
- Day rate: £600 Inside IR35
