As a cutter, you work in the Cutting Room and are responsible for the pre-processing and processing of meat. This role does not involve the slaughtering of animals, as Luiten does not perform this task.
- Cutting the meat into portions.
- Conducting quality checks on the meat.
- Preparing meat for further processing by removing non-meat parts (fat, veins, gristle).
- Sorting meat trimmings and waste.
- Identifying deviations and reporting them to the supervisor.
The start time at work is 06.00 am, and the end time is flexible. The work is usually an 8-hour shift, between Monday and Friday, but extra hours and extra days of the weekend are planned according to the operational needs.
Job Requirements: - You speak English and/or Dutch.
- You have an eye for detail and work meticulously.
- You have knowledge of meat and proven relevant work experience.
- Preferably, you have completed a butcher's training program.
- You can work in a team and independently.
- You are able to work in a production enviroment with a temperature from 7 degree
- You are available during peak periods (December and Easter).
- Willingness to adhere to regulations regarding All visible jewelry, piercings, false nails/eyelashes, or nail polish, which are prohibited in food production environments.
Employment Conditions: - €0,09 Allowance per hour, for working in a 7 degree envorinment
- Annual December bonus of 3,25% of gross salary (with the condition of working at least 2 months in Luiten).
