Data Analyst - Manchester (Remote/Hybrid)

Location: Manchester (Remote/Hybrid)
Duration: 6 months
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

*Urgent 6 Month Contract*

This is a *Remote/Hybrid Manchester* based role with an excellent immediate start within a Global Technology Client that is working to *Analyse and prepare data for reporting and business insights.*

Overview

Our client is looking for a Data Analyst to join their Data Science & Analytics team. The role focuses on analysing data, delivering insights, creating reports and dashboards, and supporting data-driven business decisions.

Working closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams, you will help identify opportunities, measure performance, and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse and prepare data for reporting and business insights.

  • Translate business requirements into analytical solutions.

  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualisations.

  • Apply statistical analysis and support A/B testing initiatives.

  • Ensure data quality and accuracy.

  • Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate findings.

  • Collaborate with Data Engineering and other teams to deliver scalable solutions.

  • Support and mentor junior team members where required.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a Data Analyst or similar role.

  • Strong SQL skills and experience with Python/PySpark.

  • Experience using Snowflake.

  • Proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualisation tools.

  • Experience with web and customer analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or Google Tag Manager.

  • Knowledge of A/B testing and experimentation.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences.

Desirable

  • Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Data Science, or a related field.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
