Finance Director

Location: Liverpool (Hybrid)Salary: £600 per day to £650 per dayContract: 4-6 Months Our client is a well established not for profit organisation based in Merseyside area that is looking to secure the services of a capable and experienced Finance Director for a period of 4-6 months.

As Finance Director, you'll be at the heart of the organisation's strategic direction. You'll act as a trusted advisor to the Executive Team and Board - bringing insight, challenge, and assurance to support confident decision-making. From shaping the the business plan to overseeing treasury and procurement strategy, your influence will be wide-reaching and meaningful.

• Providing strategic financial leadership to the Executive Team and Board
• Leading, motivating, and developing high-performing Finance team
• Driving robust financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Overseeing treasury strategy, including liquidity, debt, and investment management
• Developing and delivering a strategic procurement framework that ensures value, compliance, and social benefit
• Safeguarding the organisation's assets and ensuring efficient use of resources
• Delivering clear, transparent financial insight and performance reporting
• Ensuring full compliance with regulatory, statutory, and governance requirements
• Building strong relationships with funders, regulators, auditors, and key partners
• Acting as a visible ambassador for the organisation's values and missionThe successful candidate will have a background in both technical financial reporting and financial planning within a regulated environment.
