Butler Rose is working with one of the largest housing associations in London and the South East to recruit a Finance Manager - Regeneration & Joint Ventures to support their team. This is a minimum three-month temporary role, offering hybrid working and paying up to £280.84 a day PAYE or £371.39 a day via an Umbrella company. This is a key interim leadership role requiring a fully qualified CCAB accountant with strong business partnering experience, capable of operating at both strategic and operational levels. You will lead the financial liaison between Finance, Regeneration, and Joint Venture teams and external partners, ensuring robust financial management, funding, and governance across all schemes. You will drive performance, improve financial visibility, and support complex investment decisions that directly impact long-term organisational outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide expert business partnering to Regen and JV colleagues and partners, influencing financial decisions and performance Ensure appropriate funding structures are in place, working with banks, JV partners, treasury, and governance teams on debt and equity financing Maintain accurate and complete Regen and JV balance sheets, with regular reporting on financial position Partner with the tax team to manage tax strategies and structures for optimal efficiency Oversee robust project accounting and financial control across all regeneration and JV schemes Develop and update complex financial models for large or unusual projects Collaborate with FP&A to integrate activities into long-term strategic business planning Support statutory reporting and work closely with Financial Accounting on audits and financial statements Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure collaborative delivery What We're Looking For Fully qualified CCAB accountant with supporting CPD (essential) Strong business partnering and stakeholder management experience Ability to interpret and analyse complex financial data to inform strategic decisions Experience influencing both tactical and strategic operational activities Knowledge of joint venture or project accounting (desirable but not essential) Advanced Excel skills familiarity with D365 and Power BI preferred Proven track record of building strong partnerships across diverse teams Experience managing and developing staff to achieve high performance If you are interested in this opportunity and would like further information, please reach out to Cerys Smith.
