Interim Netsuite Project Finance Lead

(Outside) £500-600 per day

We are seeking an experienced Interim NetSuite Implementation Finance Lead to support the delivery of our finance transformation programme. This role will act as the bridge between Finance and Implementation Partners, ensuring that our NetSuite deployment is delivered on time, accurately configured, and fully aligned to business needs.

• Lead the finance workstream of the NetSuite implementation, ensuring all modules are designed, built, tested, and deployed effectively.
• Act as subject matter expert for core financial processes including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, revenue recognition, budgeting, and reporting.
• Translate business requirements into system configuration and process design.
• Oversee data migration strategy, mapping, cleansing, and validation.
• Support testing cycles (UAT, SIT) and ensure robust documentation and sign-off.
• Partner with internal finance teams to embed new processes, controls, and ways of working.
• Liaise with external NetSuite partners to ensure deliverables meet expectations.
• Provide training, guidance, and post-go-live support to finance stakeholders.
• Identify optimisation opportunities to maximise the value of NetSuite post-implementation.

• Significant experience leading NetSuite financial module implementations end-to-end.
• Strong understanding of core accounting processes and finance operating models.
• Proven ability to own a workstream in a transformation programme.
• Skilled in managing multiple stakeholders across Finance, IT, and third-party partners.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex systems in simple terms.
• A practical, delivery-focused mindset with real attention to detail.
