Lead Developer / Technical Lead - Microsoft Dynamics CE & Azure

Initial 4-Month Contract Remote Immediate Start Inside IR35

We are seeking an experienced Lead Developer / Technical Lead to join an established Microsoft development practice, supporting a team of six developers and working closely with the Practice Lead.

This is a hands on leadership role requiring strong technical depth across Dynamics 365 CE, Azure services, and modern DevOps practices. The successful candidate will provide technical direction, support junior developers, review solution architecture, and help mature CI/CD and release processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as Lead Developer across Dynamics 365 CE solutions
• Review and shape solution architecture and solution structuring
• Lead on release engineering and environment strategy
• Support and mentor junior developers within a team of six
• Strengthen and mature CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps practices
• Work across omnichannel solutions and complex integration landscapes
• Collaborate with specialists across marketing and integration, stepping in where required

Technical Experience Required

• Strong experience with Dynamics 365 CE (including legacy on prem exposure beneficial)
• Omnichannel implementation experience
• Azure services including Logic Apps, Function Apps, Azure DevOps (ADO)
• CI/CD pipeline design and management
• C# development
• Dataverse and Power Platform (including Power Pages)
• Release management and engineering best practices
• Strong understanding of solution architecture and release objects
