Loans Operations Officer - Loan IQ, LMA, LSTA

My client, a global bank based in London, is looking for a Loan Operations Officer on a 6 month contract basis. Paying up to £390pd Umbrella rate. 2 days per week in the London office.

Loan Operations manages the servicing and processing of all loan products provided to the Bank's clients. Reporting to the Senior Loan Operations Manager, this role supports a broad range of products, including term loans, revolving credit facilities, bridging loans, receivables financing, overdrafts, and both bilateral and syndicated loans.

Key Skills:

• Loan documentation experience - understanding of LMA and LSTA style Loan documentation
• Strong experience managing of a portfolio of loans
• Loan Servicing
• Loan IQ experience
• Attention to detail.
• Strong organisational/prioritisation skills.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee ongoing life cycle events for Agency and bilateral transactions
• Accurately set up new loan accounts across all relevant bank systems, ensuring alignment with documented credit approvals, security requirements, client instructions, and internal procedures
• Execute client account instructions efficiently and in the best interests of both the client and the bank
• Facilitate loan drawdowns, repayments, and settlements
• Apply account fees and charges accurately and in a timely manner
