£575/day (Inside IR35)

A leading consultancy is delivering a major UK government transformation programme and is looking for a hands-on SDET to take ownership of automation, quality engineering and test strategy across a high-visibility digital platform.

What You'll Own

• Design and build a new automation framework within Azure DevOps
• Create a data-driven automated regression suite
• Implement automation across CI/CD pipelines
• Develop test automation for integrations, APIs, and platform services
• Lead test strategy covering: integration, API, performance, security, accessibility (WCAG 2.2) and regression
• Own test evidence, metrics, reporting and quality governance
• Collaborate with architects, product leads and project managers to define testability and coverage
• Perform targeted manual testing only where automation isn't feasible

Tech & Experience Needed

• Strong automation engineering background
• Azure DevOps
• Dataverse
• API testing + API automation
• Power Automate
• Azure APIM
• Ability to architect automation pipelines for CI/CD
• Comfortable presenting coverage, metrics and automation outcomes to stakeholders
• Understanding of performance, security and accessibility testing principles
