Senior Accountant

Oxford City Council's Management Accounting Team is seeking a flexible, self-motivated, and customer-focused Senior Accountant. Location: Primarily remote with occasional in-person meetings in Oxf Town Hall

Payrate: £26.94 PAYE / £34.33 Umbrella

Contract: To start ASAP until Sep 2026

Working Hours: Full time Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm

• Actively work as part of the team to drive results, develop internal controls, enhance business processes, and share ideas to ensure service excellence is achieved.
• Manage time, resources, and priorities effectively.
• Collaborate with various departments to support and implement financial strategies and improvements.

• Proven experience in management accounting or a similar role.
• Strong ability to manage time, resources, and priorities.
