Job Specification: Head of Transformation Overview:

Our client, a boutique private bank, is seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Transformation to lead the design and execution of change initiatives across the organisation. This role is sat within the Strategy & Transformation team and will be pivotal in shaping the bank’s future operating model, driving digital adoption, enhancing client experience, and ensuring scalable processes to support growth.

The successful candidate will act as the bridge between executive leadership and delivery teams, ensuring strategic alignment and flawless execution of transformation programmes. Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership
•
• Define and execute the bank’s transformation roadmap, aligned with business strategy and regulatory requirements. • Partner with senior management to identify opportunities for operational efficiency, client experience enhancement, and business growth.

Programme & Change Management
•
• Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed standards. • Implement robust governance frameworks, KPIs, and reporting structures to track progress and outcomes. • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the bank.

Digital & Operational Transformation
•
• Drive adoption of new technologies (CRM, digital onboarding, workflow automation, core banking enhancements) to improve client and employee experience. • Ensure processes and systems are scalable, efficient, and compliant with regulatory standards.

Stakeholder Engagement
•
• Act as the central point of contact for all transformation programmes, managing communications across executive leadership, functional heads, and external partners. • Influence and inspire colleagues at all levels to embrace change.

Risk & Compliance Alignment
•
• Work closely with Risk, Compliance, and Audit to ensure transformation initiatives meet regulatory obligations and align with the bank’s risk appetite. Candidate Profile
• Proven track record in leading transformation programmes within financial services, preferably private banking or wealth management. • Strong understanding of private banking operating models , regulatory frameworks, and client service standards. • Demonstrated expertise in change management, programme delivery, and digital transformation . • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at executive and board level. • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving ability and commercial acumen. • Hands-on leadership style, comfortable working in a boutique environment with both strategic and operational responsibilities.
