Our client, a leading wealth advisory and investment firm currently has an opportunity for an experienced and credible Investment Specialist to join their team. The main purpose of this role will be to represent the Investment Division within the Partnership, senior internal Boards/committees and the financial media, acting as a specialised source of product and market knowledge.

Role & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for representing the investment management team with Partners. • This involves regular face-to-face presentations, regular online podcasts/webinars, periodic conference presentations and general support of high-quality correspondence. • Responsible for representing the investment management team with financial media. • Keep up to date with industry and market trends to inform decision making on strategic initiatives. • Responsible for upskilling and ensuring the Investment Advisor desk has access to the most up-to-date information in order to credibly provide partners the first line of support.

Background Experience:
• In-depth understanding of investment products (multi-asset, equity and fixed income), strategies, and themes, and be able to develop presentations that articulate these themes in a compelling way. • Creates compelling and impactful presentation narratives using PowerPoint and other tools. • Experience in financial services, ideally in the investment or asset management sector. • A good understanding of financial advisor and client needs. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Passion for investments and a good understanding of financial markets that they are keen to develop further. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. • Degree educated or equivalent. • Professional qualifications such as CFA or equivalent desirable.
