Want it all year round in a tax-free environment?This is a new role, for someone to own data governance across a global financial services group.It’s an interesting opportunity for someone to win the hearts and minds of stakeholders of all levels, helping them understand the importance of Data Governance as the business grows to new territories.You’ll enhance policies, embed best practice, and lead strategic initiatives across risk, legal, operations, tech, and security.
You’ll get to… - Take ownership of data governance and records management frameworks across the group
- Build and implement key controls around data classification, lifecycle management and documentation
- Deliver training and awareness programmes to embed good practice globally
- Design and manage governance reporting, including metrics for risk committees and senior leadership
- Support audits, validate controls and ensure alignment to frameworks like ISO15489
What you bring: - 5+ years of experience in data governance role.
- Demonstrable experience in the build or implementation of a DG function.
- Large scale financial services or professional experience.
- Hands-on experience implementing data governance in a regulated environment
- Familiarity with international data regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and cross-border operations
