Red Hat OpenShift Virtualisation Specialist

CPS Group UK are delighted to be working with a leading organisation to appoint a seasoned Red Hat OpenShift Virtualisation (VMWare) Specialist for an initial 6-month contract. Supporting the client through a key migration, the OpenShift Virtualisation Specialist will provide both hands-on technical expertise and over-arching technical consultancy throughout the project.

The Specialist should have experience in Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization and be able to co-create a migration plan and high-level solution design tailored to the client's needs. Delivering documentation including a roadmap, technology landscape, and proposed migration approach is also an essential responsibility.

This role is an initial 6-month contract and can be performed remotely.

Key Skills & Technologies Required

Lead discovery workshops with stakeholders to assess current infrastructure and plan future virtualization goals
Deep technical knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift (and associated technologies)
Configure and automate OpenShift tasks
Perform Virtualization Migration Assessments that include high-level design and project scoping
Identify existing VM workloads and define storage, networking requirements
Understand operational needs like automation, monitoring, disaster recovery, and compliance
Co-create a migration plan and high-level solution design tailored to the client's needs
Deliver documentation including roadmap, technology landscape, and proposed migration approach
