Job Title: HVAC M&E Engineer (Data Centre Operations)
Location: London, UK
Rate: £200 per day (Contract)
Start: Immediate
We are hiring multiple M&E / Facilities Engineers to support Data Centre Operations for a global technology leader one of the Big Four. If you have experience maintaining and operating the electrical and mechanical infrastructure of high-performing data centres, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities: -
Operate and maintain world-class mechanical and electrical infrastructure within a data centre environment

Troubleshoot faults and log incidents effectively

Perform daily operational readings of all M&E equipment (temperatures, voltages, currents)

Supervise and liaise with third-party contractors for maintenance and servicing

Conduct manual handling and lifting of equipment as needed

Manage workflows and inventory using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

Participate in a shift or rota-based schedule
Core Skills & Experience Required: Mechanical & Electrical Systems:

HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning)

UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems

ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches)
-
VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives)

Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Diesel Generators, Chillers, Exhaust Fans, Transformers
Safety & Compliance:

Demonstrated experience working in high-security, safety-regulated environments

Knowledge of and commitment to safety best practices in critical infrastructure
