On behalf of UKRI, we are looking for two Data Scientists (Inside IR35) for a 10 month contract based Hybrid in Swindon.

UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) is the national funding agency investing in science and research in the UK.

As a Data Scientist, your main responsibilities will be:

Translate data science prototypes into production-ready machine learning systems.
Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and models.
Design, build, and maintain the infrastructure needed to train, deploy, and scale machine learning models.
Preprocess and cleanse data to ensure it's suitable for model training, Extracting relevant information from the data.
Develops data pipelines to feed data into models.

Essential:

Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, R, Java, C++).
Experience working with AI and Large Language Models (LLM) is essential for the position
Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Experience with data manipulation and analysis tools.

Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas.
