Join a leading automotive organisation shaping the future of enterprise communication technologies. A communications-focused IT Specialist is required for a 6-month contract with strong potential for extension. This hybrid role is based in Gaydon, with on-site presence expected 1–3 days per week.
You’ll support the Product Management Team in defining policy, process, strategy, and the roadmap for communication-related applications and infrastructure. This includes tools such as Microsoft Teams, Intune, MTR devices, AV systems, and Session Border Controllers. The position involves working across a large, complex IT landscape with multiple stakeholders and third-party vendors.

Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain policy and lifecycle strategy for communication-related apps and devices.
- Manage subscriptions and upgrades for MS Teams, MS Intune, and related platforms.
- Lead communication plans for new product launches within productivity and collaboration.
- Test and assess new features for suitability within a complex enterprise environment.
- Recommend features, upgrades, and architecture across communications products.
- Handle product-related escalations and coordinate with business and vendors for resolution.
- Liaise with vendors such as Microsoft, Vodafone, Apple, and Poly on support, renewals, and roadmap.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Business, IT, Finance, and Procurement.
- Oversee operational service reviews with third-party vendors.
- Support the rollout, packaging, and communication of new versions and updates.
Skills & Requirements:
- ITIL Foundation certified (Ideally Incident/Problem Practitioner).
- 6-8 years' experience within a large, complex IT department or organisation.
- In-depth experience with MS Teams and MS Intune.
- Strong understanding of MTR devices, AV equipment, and collaboration infrastructure.
- Solid knowledge of Windows, Apple Mac, and networking fundamentals.
- Proven project management and stakeholder engagement experience.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Strong track record of delivering value through product assessment and recommendation.
- Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to service improvement.
- Experience identifying and addressing service risks and issues.
