Job Title: Accountant Key Responsibilities: Prepare journal entries for revenue, expenses, accruals, and estimates. Generate accurate monthly financial statements and support month/year-end closings in SAP. Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure proper asset capitalization. Review and validate DD&A calculations in SAP. Reconcile key P&L and Balance Sheet accounts; clean up old GL balances. Prepare vendor/customer ageing schedules and bank reconciliations. Analyze intracompany costs and ensure accurate intercompany billing. Process payroll and employee expense claims. Support audit processes and assist in preparing IFRS-compliant financial statements. Identify process improvements and strengthen financial controls. Collaborate across departments to provide financial insights and support. Requirements: Degree in Accounting or professional certification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, etc.) 3+ years’ experience in a similar role Proficient in SAP FI-CO and FI-AA modules Knowledge of IFRS and PSC accounting in the oil & gas sector Strong Excel and analytical skills Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to work independently Excellent communication and teamwork skills Proactive problem-solver
