They are currently looking for a Network Security Engineer to join their team and support their advanced infrastructure and security operations.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with strong experience in Cisco, Fortinet, SD-WAN, Zscaler, and ITSM processes. This is a great chance to join a global team, expand your network security skills, and work with cutting-edge tools in a balanced, no-travel environment.
This is a 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity with a hybrid schedule 3 days onsite in the Denton, TX area and 2 days remote.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, Cisco routers and switches, Spanning Tree, and VTP
- Proficient in Cisco Firewalls, IDS, Firepower Management Console
- Experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and FortiManager
- Working knowledge of SD-WAN, Dynamic Multipoint VPN
- Familiar with Zscaler (Private and Internet Access), Infoblox DHCP/DNS/IP management
- Experience with Cisco ISE, Prime, DNAC, and wireless controllers (IOS and AireOS)
- Proficient in using ServiceNow and understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Knowledge)
- Strong troubleshooting, incident response, and documentation skills
- Minimum of 3 years in a similar role
Desired Skills & Experience - Familiarity with scripting (Python preferred)

Tech Breakdown - 60% Cisco Meraki hardware, switches, wireless

Daily Responsibilities - 70% Hands-on technical tasks (monitoring, troubleshooting, improving operations)

- 10% Team collaboration and documentation
