Temp Accounts Assistant - £14 - £16.63 per hour - 3-6 months

Hays Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be partnered with a growing manufacturing company based in Chelmsford who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis for 3-6 months.

This company is going through a period of growth and needs some interim support managing the Purchase/Sales & General Ledger as well.

Your new role
Base salary is £14 - £16.63 per hour.Location is Chelmsford.
They're looking for this individual to be onsite 5 days per week, however flexible options can be discussed.

What you'll need to succeed
Key Attributes and Skills:

Have a positive work ethic with a can-do attitude, who provides solutions and support Personal integrity; hardworking, personable, professional, and commercially minded Proficient in Microsoft Office and especially Excel (e.g. Pivot tables/formulas)Knowledge of Purchase, Sales ledger and General LedgerAttention to detail, high expectations/standards Be comfortable with and capable of working to deadlines.2+ years accounting experienceWorking knowledge of accounting software platforms, including MSDynamics, Xero, Excel.Able to take ownership and assume responsibilityArticulate and a confident communicator with a range of colleagues, clients, and other professionalsAAT Qualification ideally but can look at QBE.
