Freelance Fullstack Web Developer

You'll be joining one of our partner's internal teams focused on competitor analysis. This team plays a key role in delivering insights that shape strategic decisions across the organization. You'll work closely with analysts, data engineers, and product owners to build and maintain robust web applications that bring data to life.

About the role:

As a Full Stack Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications. You'll work across the stack-from crafting intuitive front-end interfaces in React to building performant back-end services using NodeJS and NestJS. You'll also work with PostgreSQL databases and deploy to the cloud using Azure and GitHub Actions for CI/CD.

You will:

Build and maintain full stack web applications with a focus on performance and scalability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
Design and implement RESTful APIs and data models
Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and best practices
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment strategies
Stay up to date with the latest trends in web development and bring new ideas to the table

What we're looking for

3+ years of experience in full stack web development
Strong knowledge of JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks (React preferred)
Experience with NodeJS and NestJS for building scalable back-end services
Familiarity with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure is a plus)
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
Fluent in English

Practical details

Start: ASAP
Duration: Until end of the year (with possible extension)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Delft, hybrid (on-site and remote)
