Title: Collections Specialist (Contract)

Location: Aurora, Illinois

Compensation: $28-32/ hour depending on relevant experience

Job Responsibilities:

Monitor and analyze outstanding invoices.
Ensure timely and accurate billing of clients.
Contact clients to collect overdue payments through phone calls, emails, and letters.
Analyze client accounts to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
Prepare and maintain reports on collection activities and status of accounts.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Advanced Excel skills required, including proficiency with pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis, and spreadsheet management.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in collections or related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
