Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Naperville, IL (Hybrid)

Assignment Type: 3- month contract with potential for extensions

Compensation: $28 - $30 / hr depending on relevant experience

Benefits: This position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Job Responsibilities:

Manage accounts payable transactions manually, including sorting, matching, coding, and entering invoices into the accounting system.
Perform detailed 3-way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Process and reconcile freight invoices, ensuring proper allocation of expenses and adherence to contract terms.
Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies, payment inquiries, and other accounts payable-related matters in a professional and timely manner.
Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounts payable workflows and contribute to the implementation of streamlined procedures

Requirements:

3 + years' of experience working in Accounts Payable
SAP experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
