Accounting Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Technician to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, including payroll processing, tax submissions, invoicing, and managing both accounts payable and receivable. Spanish language proficiency is a strong asset, and the role requires solid skills in Excel and the Microsoft Office suite. Responsibilities include: Payroll processing Knowledge of taxes (GCT, SO1, SO2) Invoicing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Spanish language proficiency preferred Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Requirements: Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role Working knowledge of Jamaican tax regulations and payroll processes Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Spanish language proficiency (spoken and written) is preferred but not mandatory
