Systems Architect - Mid-level with Security Clearance

Job Status: Position is funded and is contingent upon customer acceptance Location: Springfield, VA or Chantilly, VA Clearance Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a current and active TS/SCI clearance granted by the Department of Defense or an Intelligence Community agency. Must be able to pass a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph. We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Mid-Level Systems Architect to join our team. Mid-level System Architects design and develop solutions for complex applications problems, API design, data services, platform services, cloud services and infrastructure services to meet user requirements and align to strategic goals and the Enterprise Architecture. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Designs, develops, maintains, and documents solution architectures ensuring traceability to the Enterprise architecture and Enterprise requirements. Conducts analysis of user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. Develops proposed changes to the solutions architecture design based on analysis of requirements and new technology. Assists the Government in planning, designing, defining, developing, documenting and baselining the GEOINT Enterprise Architecture (GEA), inclusive of business, data, network, security and solutions-level sub-architectures, to ensure enterprise systems work together in an integrated fashion to deliver mission capabilities and solutions. Key activities may include the following: systems analysis necessary to define and document the As-Is Architecture; planning, design, and systems engineering work necessary to build and portray the To-Be Architecture; the development of conceptual, logical and physical architecture and technical roadmaps defining the time-phased schedule for the path of systems and services from the As-Is to the To-Be Architecture; and program, segment and project-based solution-level architectures consistent with the enterprise-level architecture. Required Qualifications: At least 6 years of architecture work experience in Government or industry. Desired Qualifications: Working knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools and languages. The physical requirements of this position include: Ability to work at a desk for approximately 8 hours / day for a full 5 day workweek Ability to work in a SCIF environment, potentially co-located with govt customers. Education Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program or equivalent Mid level experience as a Systems Architect. Years of Experience: 14+ years w/ High School Diploma 6+ years w/ Bachelor's Degree Position Type: Full-Time Shift: Day Export Control: For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
