• Bachelor's degree in STEM & 3+ years of experience in A/V system design/implementation (years of experience can be substituted in lieu of degree)
• Strong experience programming within Crestron & Extron • Active DoD Security Clearance Insight Global is seeking a qualified Secret A/V Engineer in support of one of are large federal clients in Albuquerque, NM. This candidate will be supporting and be responsible for displaying and sharing information within the command center. This candidate will integrate hardware and software material that allows the command to display, distribute and select/prioritize what information is being presented to the command. Their day to day will include but is not limited to: • Defines, designs, and develops new audio/video distribution systems. • Evaluates current hardware/software limitations and designs systems for A/V compatibility, especially for Crestron, Extron, Barco, Jupiter, Biamp, etc. • Identifies technical requirements and standards for telecommunications, audio, and video systems. • Solves compatibility design issues. • Designs and integrates A/V systems. • Conducts independent investigations of A/V solutions. • Leads others without supervisory duties. • Trains staff on system repairs, operations, procedures, and troubleshooting. • Understands how to find and fix malfunctions. • Reads schematics and work plans. • Works well in a team as a Quality Team Member. • Writes installation and maintenance manuals with detailed drawings, test plans, and procedures. • Coordinates procurement of electrical components from vendors. • Collaborates with engineering staff. Compensation: $50.25/hr. to $64.90/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
