Accounts Assistant - Immediate Start

Role: Accounts Assistant

Location: Hatfield

Hours: Monday to Friday, 10am to 3pm

Salary: £13.00- £15.00 an hour, weekly pay

Temporary opportunity for 2 3 months

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a client based in Hatfield.

Duties of an Accounts Assistant:

Process purchase invoices and sales invoices accurately and promptly
Maintain and reconcile supplier and customer accounts
Prepare and process payments (e.g. BACS)
Assist with expenses payments
Monitor and follow-up on outstanding receivables
Maintain and update financial spreadsheets and databases
Assist with bank reconciliations
File and organise financial documents for audit and compliance purposes
Liaise with suppliers, clients, and operational teams regarding finance-related queries
Assist with VAT returns
Undertake administrative tasks, such as filing and printing.

What we would like from you:

Proven experience within an Accounts role
Experience using SAGE 50
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
Ability to work independently
