Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations Senior Solutions Architect to join our team. An Ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in a hands-on, technical role. The candidate will have extensive experience in a customer facing role and requires a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a consultative capacity. The candidate will work within a fast-paced team with dynamically changing requirements. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter who can work with minimal direction and provide leadership to others.
Job Overview:As the
Senior Solution Architect, you will be the most senior F&O expert on the project team, responsible for leading the end-to-end solution design and delivery of Dynamics 365 F&O implementations. You will work closely with client stakeholders, internal consultants, and technical teams to ensure solutions align with business goals and industry best practices. Examples of projects include large-scale global rollouts, complex integrations, and customizations tailored to specific business needs.
The core responsibility of this role is to provide Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) leadership through practice development, architectural vision and implementation expertise throughout the assessment, proposal, design, implementation and operational phases of customer engagements. You will work alongside Perficient consultants with clients to serve all needs within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) ecosystem. The role often requires the Senior Solutions Architect to become the trusted, technical face of the engagement; strong leadership and consulting skills are necessary. Successful candidates must be willing to multitask and understand that customer engagements will vary over time and must maintain and evolve skillsets to meet those needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Serve as the lead architect and trusted advisor for Dynamics 365 F&O engagements.
- Design and oversee the implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing F&O solutions.
- Collaborate with client executives and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions.
- Lead solution workshops, architecture reviews, and design sessions.
- Provide strategic guidance on Dynamics 365 roadmap, integrations, data migration, and customizations.
- Mentor and guide functional and technical consultants on the project team.
- Ensure adherence to Microsoft best practices and industry standards.
- Support pre-sales activities including solutioning, scoping, and proposal development.
- Provide project and solution estimation and team structure definition.
- Liaise with offshore team and clients to resolve technical dependencies, issues, and risks related to project delivery.
- Mentor and provide architectural guidance to multiple teams building innovative applications.
- Drive common vision, best practices and capabilities across teams.
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand required capabilities, integrating business knowledge with technical solutions.
- Engage with Technical Architects and technical staff to determine the most appropriate technical strategy and designs to meet business needs
- Demonstrate broad solutions technical leadership, impacting significant technical direction, exerting influence outside of the immediate team and driving change
QUALIFICATIONS - 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX / Dynamics 365 F&O
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect on multiple full-cycle D365 F&O implementations
- Deep understanding of F&O modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, HR and Project Operations
- Strong knowledge of Power Platform, Azure services, and integration patterns
- Leadership and team management experience with the ability to provide strategic planning and oversight
- Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 F&O with MB-700 being the most desirable
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- At least 3 large scale global rollouts have been completed
- At least 3 years of experience in a consultative role
- Fluent and current on architecture trends with an eye on market/technical conditions and future direction
- Experience leading customer workshop sessions to educate customers on the latest technology trends and best practices
- Proven track record of leadership roles delivering solutions within defined timeframes
- Demonstrated success in performing work and managing complex and/or large consulting projects
- Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents
- Ability to elicit requirements and communicate clearly with non-technical individuals, development teams, and other ancillary project members
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff
- Experience working with a globally distributed team and managing offshore teams
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Be independent and self-driven
- Must be open to occasional travel (less than 25%)
Preferred Skills and Education: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Microsoft MB-700 certification
