Job: Data Visualization Specialist

Location: Remote

Compensation: $100,000 - $110,000 Annually

This is a contract to hire opportunity

We’re seeking a Data Visualization Specialist to support a government program. This role is ideal for someone passionate about turning data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

Build interactive, geospatial data visualizations for analysts and stakeholders.
Perform exploratory data analysis and design reproducible ML pipelines using R and Python.
Develop, test, and validate statistical and machine learning models.
Maintain and optimize data pipelines from a range of sources.
Support planning, backlog prioritization, and technology roadmap execution.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in data analytics or a related technical field.
Proficiency in R, Python, and relational databases (PostgreSQL/PostGIS or Aurora).
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Familiarity with Agile practices, TDD, and CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to obtain a public trust clearance.
