Job Title: Temporary Credit Control Administrator
Location: Central Durham. Hybrid - 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home
Contract: Temporary - 3 months
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (35 hours per week)
Start Date: ASAP
Hourly Rate: £13.65
We are currently recruiting for a Credit Control Administrator to join a busy and dynamic finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative and credit control experience to hit the ground running in a hybrid role, offering both flexibility and the chance to contribute to an essential service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver front-line administrative services within a busy credit control environment
- Make outbound calls to customers to collect overdue payments and resolve any queries effectively
- Manage workload and deadlines under pressure while maintaining high quality and accuracy
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the delivery of high-quality services
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience working in a credit control or similar finance environment
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Confident in outbound customer communication, especially in recovering overdue debt
- Ability to work proactively as part of a team
Skills & Knowledge:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in using digital tools and systems, including Microsoft 365, email, ERP systems, and communication platforms
- A commitment to ongoing professional development
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to offer clear advice and guidance
