This part time, interim payroll specialist will be responsible for BAU processing, audit and compliance for UK Payroll. This is a flexible, part time position within a growing business!

Description

Part Time Payroll (Contract)

Process payroll for employees in adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
Ensure accurate data entry and timely submission of payroll information.
Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies with a proactive approach.
Maintain up-to-date payroll records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with GDPR.
Collaborate with the accounting and finance team to reconcile payroll reports.
Support end-to-end payroll processes, including tax filings and statutory deductions.
Assist in auditing payroll procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Provide reports and insights to management regarding payroll trends and issues.

Profile

Part Time Payroll (Contract)

Proficiency in multiple payroll platforms
Can adhere to ad hoc hours/work, typically 2 or 3 days per week
Competent in gross to net manual calculations, happy with pension portal uploads, happy to liaise with a management service
Happy to adhere to a role until April 2026 on a part time basis

Job Offer

Part Time Payroll (Contract)

Part time offering - flexibility on days but approx. 2-3 days per week (c. 20-25 hours per week)
Interim: Until April 2026 as a minimum
Hybrid working pattern - typically 50% in office (adjusts on a case by case basis)
Easy public transport links as well as parking on site
Adjustable start and finish times
Daily rate (inclusive of holiday pay): c. 300 - 350 per day (dependent on experience and interview performance)
