The leading consultancy firm has partnered with UK's leading financial services institution. They are currently seeking an experienced Application Enterprise Architect to join the team on a 6-month contract based in Swindon. Ready to make a move? Get in touch and apply today!

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement the application roadmap for Branch and Teller systems aligned with business and operational goals.
Establish and maintain enterprise architecture principles, standards, and best practices.
Lead modernization initiatives using cloud platforms, microservices, and other innovative technologies.
Oversee technical due diligence, system consolidation, and risk mitigation during mergers and acquisitions.
Collaborate with IT, business leaders, and third-party vendors to ensure business-technical alignment.
Ensure architectural decisions comply with banking regulations and security standards.
Monitor, assess, and improve application reliability and performance.
Deliver bi-weekly updates to the COO on key initiatives, milestones, and challenges.

Ideal Experience & Skills:

15+ years in enterprise architecture roles within the banking or financial services sector.
Deep expertise in Branch and Teller Applications and core banking systems.
Proven experience with M&A-related application integration and change management.
Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, etc.).
Technical proficiency in cloud platforms, microservices, and application modernization.
Solid understanding of banking regulations, digital transformation, and security standards.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and C-level communication skills.
Application Enterprise Architect - 6 Month Contract (Scope for extension).

Location:

Hybrid (2 days per week on site in Swindon).

Duration:

6 months (Scope for extension).

Rate:

Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
