About Our Client:

Addison Group is partnering with a well-established professional services organization in Phoenix to fill a contract Administrative Assistant position. This role will support the team during a maternity leave and offers a collaborative and professional environment within a growing firm.

Job Description:

The Administrative Assistant will provide general office and administrative support to tax professionals and internal departments. Responsibilities include organizing documents, assisting with e-filing, managing front desk coverage, and handling day-to-day office tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, professional, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation, packaging, and distribution of tax return documents
Scan, file, and manage both physical and digital records
Support the administrative and tax teams with clerical tasks
Answer incoming phone calls and assist with front desk duties as needed
Process incoming/outgoing mail and handle general office upkeep
Maintain confidentiality with sensitive client information

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required
1+ years of experience in an administrative or office support role
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Able to work independently and manage time effectively
Prior experience in a professional services or accounting environment is a plus
Bilingual and/or tax support experience is a bonus

Additional Details:

Employment Type: Contract
Start Date: Mid-to-late July
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (flexible)
Interview Process: Onsite interview followed by offer
Reports to: Director of Operations
Tools Used: Microsoft Office Suite
