Pay Rate: $25 - $30 / hour dependant on applicable experience

Addison Group is partnering with a well-established construction company to identify a contract resource who can support a variety of AP and finance-related administrative functions. This role is ideal for someone with construction industry exposure, strong attention to detail, and the ability to navigate manual processes. While the work includes a significant clerical component, we’re looking for someone who can also assist with tasks that have a more financial and operational impact across Treasury and AP.

Key Responsibilities:

Process full cycle AP in a PO environment - 3-way matching, coding & posting to the GL, Check runs and more.
Manage the weekly per diem reimbursement process, including receiving paper submissions, matching supporting documentation, and entering data into system
Collaborate with the Shared Services team to ensure timely and accurate processing of per diem reimbursements
Assist the Treasury and AP teams with managing the submission of positive pay files to the bank
Support construction AP functions such as tracking job costs, vendor payments, and backup documentation
Maintain clean, organized records of manual data and ensure accuracy across systems
Jump in on additional project-based or finance-related tasks as needed across the accounting team
Communicate effectively with internal teams including Project Managers, AP, and Shared Services

Qualifications:

1–2+ years of experience in an AP, accounting, or finance support role—ideally within construction or project-based environments
Comfortable working with manual, paper-based processes and high-volume data entry
Familiarity with construction AP workflows including job costing, lien waivers, and vendor compliance is a plus
Experience with larger ERP systems (JDE, D 365 Etc)
Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate across departments
Excel proficiency (sorting/filtering, basic formulas)
