Position Overview:
We’re seeking a proactive and organized HR Coordinator to support a busy Human Resources department. This role will focus on generalist support, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate is resourceful, adaptable, and thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage employee onboarding, including I-9 verifications and documentation
- Order business cards and oversee new hire logistics
- Provide administrative support to the Learning & Development team
- Organize lunch and learn events and employee engagement programs
- Administer employee benefits and process status-related changes
- Maintain and update HRIS with new hires, changes, and terminations
- Assist with open enrollment, payroll processing, and performance reviews
- Respond to HR-related inquiries and provide excellent internal service
- Collaborate with other departments to support company-wide initiatives
- Handle employment verifications and general HR admin tasks
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2–3 years of experience in an HR support or coordination role
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
- Experience with Paycom and Excel preferred (not required)
- Familiarity with HRIS and general HR processes a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and composure under pressure
