Introduction
TPG is hiring a Desktop Support Analyst to join the IT services team of a well-known organization in the professional services/publishing industry. This role is fully onsite in Big Rapids, MI, with occasional travel to nearby remote offices. If you're a hands-on tech support pro with solid experience across Windows environments and a strong customer service mindset, this could be the opportunity for you.
This is a mid-level position that requires supporting multiple sites and working with both hardware and software, including printers, mobile devices, and Microsoft applications. Candidates must have reliable transportation and live within reasonable driving distance of Big Rapids, MI.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level desktop support for end users
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Support Microsoft Outlook and Office 365 across all user levels
- Configure and support Windows-based devices and OS
- Maintain, update, and image systems using SCCM/Altiris tools
- Monitor hardware/software compliance and perform patch management
- Document all support procedures and maintain clear logs
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of desktop support experience in a Windows environment
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, drivers, and peripherals
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with Active Directory administration
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot Microsoft Outlook and email clients
- Experience supporting and configuring mobile devices: Android, iPhone, Blackberry, Windows
- Experience using SCCM, Altiris, or similar configuration tools
- Strong documentation and customer service skills
- Must have reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally for support needs
Travel & Site Support Breakdown
- Big Rapids, MI – (primary support site, 4–5 days/week)
- Midland, MI – (1x/week or as needed)
- Manistee, Benzie, Bad Axe, MI – Monthly or emergency site visits
