Job Title: QA Operations Officer
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Type: 6-Month Contract (with view to permanent placement)

Overview:
An established biopharmaceutical manufacturing organization in Amsterdam is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Operations Officer to support Quality Assurance activities related to GMP production. This is a 6-month contract role with the strong possibility of extension or permanent employment based on performance and organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform day-to-day QA oversight of manufacturing and production operations to ensure compliance with GMP standards.
Review and approve batch records, deviations, CAPAs, and change controls.
Provide QA support during manufacturing, including on-the-floor presence and documentation oversight.
Participate in investigations related to production deviations or out-of-specification results.
Collaborate closely with Production, QC, and Engineering teams to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Assist with internal and external audits and inspections.
Support validation and qualification activities from a QA perspective.
Maintain and update quality systems and ensure proper documentation practices are followed.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or related field.
2+ years of experience in a GMP-regulated environment, preferably within the (bio)pharmaceutical industry.
Solid understanding of GMP guidelines and QA processes.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in English (written and spoken); Dutch is a plus.
