Project Manager - Physical Security

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager with deep expertise in physical security systems, particularly Electronic Access Control Systems (EACS) such as Lenel OnGuard and Nedap AEOS. This role involves managing end-to-end security projects and mentoring new Security Functional Administrators.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management (70%)

Lead, plan, design, execute, and deliver physical security projects on time and within budget.
Develop detailed project plans including scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
Coordinate internal teams and external vendors for seamless project execution.
Proactively identify and mitigate project risks.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Conduct post-project evaluations for continuous improvement.
Travel internationally to project sites, with at least one visit per project lifecycle.
Focus on EACS projects (Lenel OnGuard, Nedap AEOS), video surveillance systems (VSS), intrusion detection, and other physical security technologies.

Colleague Development & Mentoring (30%)

Lead onboarding and training programs for new Security Functional Administrators.
Provide day-to-day coaching and mentorship.
Serve as a subject matter expert for Lenel OnGuard and Nedap AEOS.
Foster a collaborative and learning-oriented team environment.
Stay current with the latest equipment and standards in the physical security market (e.g., Lenel, Milestone, HID, STID, Bosch, Axis, ATS, Honeywell, Boon Edam, Gallagher).

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
7-10 years of project management experience, with 5-7 years in physical security systems.
In-depth technical knowledge of Lenel OnGuard and Nedap AEOS.
Strong understanding of physical security principles and technologies (VSS, intrusion detection).
Proven experience in mentoring and coaching.
Fluent in Dutch and English (written and verbal).
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Jira Align).
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel internationally.
Availability to work in-office 2-3 days per week.
High level of discretion with sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications

Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2).
Physical security certifications (ASIS PSP, CPP).
Vendor certifications for Lenel OnGuard and/or Nedap AEOS.
Experience with Milestone VSS and system integrations (EACS with VMS or PSIM).
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
