A Staff Assistant (TS/SCI Clearance) position just opened up in Pasadena, CA at the JPL/NASA facility. In this role you will be responsible for providing office support which involves; distributing information; arranging travel, meetings, events and/or conferences; scheduling appointments. You must have a minimum of 6 years of related experience and be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI Clearance.

Position: Staff Assistant II
Pay Rate: $35/hour+ DOE
Duration: 24 months or longer
Work schedule: 5/40 First Shift We do offer PTO, holidays, 401k, medical, dental, and vision Active TS/SCI Clearance Required This Staff Assistant II is part of JPL's National Security Program Office (NSPO) in the Astronomy & Physics Directorate. Our office is responsible for classified work and buildings at JPL. This position will be part of the Business Administration Team. Tasks include but not limited to:
-Person most knowledgeable of activities, visitors, customers coming into the building
-Communicate cross-functionally to ensure seamless customer service
-Travel and travel expenses
-Coordinate meetings using Outlook
-Ensure conflict-free conference room schedules
-Ownership of facility functions and appearance
-Assisting with internal moves
-Daily escorting of uncleared technicians Must have an active Top Secret (TS) clearance based upon Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) within a 5-year scope and must be approved for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) accesses. Requirements:
-Typically requires a High School diploma with at least 6 years of related experience OR an Associate's degree with one year of related experience
-Solid understanding of MS office- MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
-Enthusiastic about learning, figuring things out and accomplishing tasks
-Enjoys working as a team
-Comfortable asking questions
-Excellent customer service and communication skills
-Self-starter who takes initiative and follows through
-Willing to help with any task that comes our way
-Confident with multi-tasking in public setting
-Able to maintain patience and composure in a dynamic work environment that includes interruptions and changing priorities About our client:
