Our client is a well-established outpatient surgical facility committed to providing quality care in a comfortable and professional environment. Patients are supported by a dedicated staff focused on safety, efficiency, and compassion. As the first point of contact for patients and providers, the front desk team plays a critical role in ensuring smooth daily operations.

Job Description:

The Healthcare Receptionist will manage front desk operations including patient check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, call handling, and administrative duties. This individual will also scan medical records daily and work closely with providers and patients. A professional, reliable, and personable demeanor is essential as this role is patient-facing and key to creating a positive first impression.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and check in/out patients for same-day surgical procedures
Schedule and confirm appointments as needed
Transfer incoming calls to the appropriate departments or staff
Scan and upload medical records accurately into the system
Interact professionally with providers and patients
Provide general administrative support to the office staff

Qualifications:

1+ year of front desk experience in a healthcare or patient-facing setting
EPIC system experience highly preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable transportation; must live within 30 minutes of Tinley Park, IL

Additional Details:

Type of Assignment: Contract (12 weeks minimum – FMLA coverage)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Dress Code: Business casual (no jeans or sandals)
Transportation: Must have a reliable vehicle – no exceptions
