Job Title: Technical Program Manager – Creative Infrastructure
Location: Hybrid in Culver City or Cupertino, CA (Onsite Tues–Thurs)
Pay: $85/hr W2 (depending on experience)
Duration: 12 months, full-time contract

The Planet Group is seeking a Technical Program Manager to support a world-class product and design organization focused on building creative infrastructure that powers some of the most visible and engaging digital experiences. This 12-month opportunity is ideal for someone who can bring structure to complex workflows, coordinate cross-functional teams, and keep high-priority projects on track in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5–7 years as a Technical Program Manager or Producer within software design or product development
Strong understanding of design-to-development lifecycles
Proven experience leading meetings, tracking tasks, timelines, and creating project documentation
macOS proficient with strong Keynote skills
Experience with project management tools like Wrike, Airtable, Asana, or WorkFront
Skilled in balancing competing priorities, resource constraints, and tight deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills, especially across design, engineering, marketing, and business teams
Must be highly organized, analytical, and adaptable in a changing environment

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Prior experience in a digital or creative agency
Strong design sensibility and visual communication skills
Ability to influence stakeholders and ensure alignment across complex systems and teams
Excellent note-taking and synthesis of action items from reviews and planning sessions
Familiarity with creative asset pipelines or product content management systems

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Act as the program lead for internal creative infrastructure initiatives
Run meetings, take detailed notes, track key decisions and ensure follow-ups are handled
Build and manage roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables for technical and creative teams
Partner with leadership to support project intake, resourcing, and team prioritization
Track project health, identify risks early, and escalate blockers when necessary
Ensure alignment between design intent and engineering execution
Present progress, timelines, and documentation to stakeholders using clear and compelling visuals (Keynote)
Serve as a thought partner to leadership by organizing team workload and protecting focus
