DevOps Consultant | Pharma | Hybrid/Warsaw | 12-month contract (competitive hourly rate)
Our Client, a global leader in innovative solutions, is seeking a DevOps Consultant to join their team. You will be playing a crucial role in enhancing systems and data integration capabilities as well as coach & develop a team of five DevOps Engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Design scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure on the AWS cloud platform.
- Develop infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Establish a framework for cross-team collaboration through Backstage.
- Lead the development of CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions .
- Implement automated testing and continuous integration processes to maintain code quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective DevOps support.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Industry background - Pharma industry or financial services industry are essential.
- Leadership mindset with experience of team management, coaching & development.
- Experience of snowflake.
- Proficiency in AWS cloud platform and infrastructure as code using Hashicorp Terraform.
- Familiarity with Backstage Configurations & Operations.
- Expertise in automation with CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions.
- Knowledge in Kubernetes development and operations, particularly with AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service.
- Experience in streaming data integration using technologies like Kafka and AWS Kinesis.
- Proficient in orchestrating AWS cloud services.
