About Our Client: Our client is a well-established manufacturing company based in Chino, CA, known for its collaborative environment and commitment to compliance and employee support. They are seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) HR professional to step into a temporary role supporting leave administration, HR projects, and recruiting activities.
Job Description:
This is a temporary position estimated to last 3–6 months, ideal for an experienced HR Coordinator or Generalist with strong bilingual communication skills. The primary focus will be administering and overseeing FMLA and other leave of absence programs, while also supporting broader HR functions, including recruiting and heavy data entry.
Key Responsibilities:
FMLA & Leave Administration (Primary Focus):
- Serve as the main point of contact for employees and managers regarding FMLA, ADA, and other leave programs
- Track and process all leave-related documentation, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of all cases and coordinate return-to-work procedures
HR Support & Projects:
- Support internal HR audits, policy updates, and process improvements
- Assist with compliance and employee engagement initiatives
- Provide general administrative support and respond to HR inquiries
Recruiting Assistance (As Needed):
- Assist in job postings, interview scheduling, and onboarding logistics
- Prepare new hire paperwork and orientation materials
Data Entry & Recordkeeping:
- Conduct high-volume data entry into HRIS and maintain employee records
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of sensitive personnel data
- Generate reports and documentation for HR management as needed
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of HR experience in a Coordinator or Generalist role
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
- Experience managing or supporting FMLA and other leave programs strongly preferred
- Knowledge of HR compliance, including FMLA, ADA, and HIPAA
- High attention to detail with strong data entry and documentation skills
- Ability to manage sensitive matters with discretion and empathy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with HRIS platforms
- Strong communication skills and ability to handle multiple priorities independently

- Temporary position: Estimated duration of 3–6 months
- On-site role based in Chino, CA
- Reports directly to the HR Manager and partners closely with Recruiting
