Responsibilities: Independently perform assembly, disassembly, and repair of V-22 aircraft components using established aerospace maintenance practices and specifications.
Troubleshoot and replace components to ensure product serviceability and system integrity.
Conduct diagnostic testing and fault isolation using manual and automated test equipment to resolve issues in mechanical or electrical systems.
Perform modifications and system upgrades to aircraft in compliance with technical specifications.
Coordinate and execute validation/verification testing to confirm system serviceability.
Use detailed documentation procedures to record repairs, inspections, and modifications, ensuring compliance with contract and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve discrepancies and validate technical documentation and procedures.
Conduct visual inspections to verify part cleanliness and serviceability prior to installation.
Adhere to general aviation safety and maintenance standards, including FOD control, tool accountability, and health/safety compliance. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Experience: Minimum 4+ years of relevant aviation maintenance experience.
Hands-on experience with V-22 Maintenance and Modification.
Preferred Skills: FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.
Prior Depot-level modification experience.
Background in Quality Assurance practices.
Travel: Must be able to travel up to 30%, sometimes with short notice, to domestic sites including U.S. military bases and Hawaii.
