Product Test Engineer - Power Electronics - University of Warwick - (phone number removed) - £27.30/hr - Inside IR35

What You Will Do:

Deliver engineering support for power electronics testing, focusing on inverters and E-machines.
Collaborate with technical teams, including academia and third-party engineers, to understand and execute test requirements.
Prepare, install, and instrument units under test, ensuring smooth operation of test beds and programming test cells.
Analyse test data, diagnose issues, and implement solutions to move testing activities forward.
Coordinate a team of technicians to manage test preparations and commissioning activities.
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and quality, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

What You Will Bring:

Fundamental knowledge of inverters, E-machines, and power electronics.
Experience with rig or laboratory-based testing and evaluation processes.
Ability to interpret electrical circuits and diagrams, with strong mechanical and electrical skills.
Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving, using software tools to identify and resolve issues.
Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a structured approach to managing concurrent activities.
Knowledge of hybrid and Battery electric vehicles (Preferred)
