Finance Manager (Children's Social Care)
A Local Authority in West Yorkshire are looking to appoint a talented Finance Manager on an Interim basis, are working with Spencer Clarke Group to find a successful candidate.
What's on offer:
- Rates: 500 per day, inside IR35.
Negotiable based on experience

- 6 Months with a review to being extended
- Contract type: Contract (37 hrs a week)
- Hours: 09:00 -17:00
About the role - Children's Social Care/Schools Funding
This role will manage within Social Care and Learning Support, including SEND and the High Needs Safety Valve agreement - It also incorporates school funding.
Responsibilities:
Based in West Yorkshire: (Fully Remote)
- Line management of approx. 8 staff.
- Oversight of social care and schools finance.
- Monthly financial monitoring and reporting.
- Attendance at senior leadership meetings.
- Responding to ad hoc queries and requests.
- Minimal written reporting; emphasis on financial reporting and analysis.
About you:
You will have the following experience:
- Local authority experience.
- Proven track record in SEND, DSG, and High Needs.
- Evidence of senior stakeholder engagement'
- Strong financial reporting and monitoring background'
