Data Analyst

3 Month initial contract with good long term prospects and possibility of permanent

Inside IR35

Hybrid to Crawley - Onsite 2 days per week

This role will be responsible for all data related activities within the department and support the department members.

This role involves supporting team members, collaborating with cross-functional teams, designing analytical solutions, and delivering actionable insights to enhance business performance and efficiency.

Primary responsibility will include providing robust and professional support related to data and applications to various departments

Key Responsibilities:

1. Reporting and Analysis
Develop and maintain of interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI, SAP BI and Excel.

2. Budget and Forecasting
Support and provide Budget and Forecast figures in liaison with finance and business.

3. System Administration Support
Administer and support various Sales & Service Administration related tools, such as Microsoft Dynamics365 (Sales & Service CRM)

4. Communication and Collaboration
Maintain close communication with both internal teams and overseas group companies to ensure consistency, share information, and support organisational goals.

5. Data and Template Management
Ensure business data and templates are up to date.

6. Analysis and Insights
Conduct ad-hoc analyses and deep dives to answer business questions, provide insights and support strategic initiatives.

7. Data Quality Assurance
Perform data validation, quality assurance, and data cleansing activities to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.

Essential skills:

Power BI
SQL
Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to translate complex data into clear insights
Experience with data management tools
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Desirable:

Microsoft Dynamics365 (Sales & Service CRM)
ClickLearn
SharePoint
Crystal Report
