Sharepoint Engineer

12 Month Contract

Barrow in Furness (1-2 days per month on site)

£47.12 an hour Umbrella Inside IR35

This is a great opportunity to work within one of the UKs leading Defence companies based in Barrow in Furness. Hybrid working, 1-2 days per month on site.

The role holder:
- Will be responsible for working with the Squad Leads, Business Engagement Leads and Stakeholders to translate demands / requirements into work packages that can then be delivered within agreed time and cost whilst maintaining agile principles.
- Will have the ability to adapt these plans in line with prioritisation of demand.
- Works on a broad range of complex activities, in a variety of contexts. Can investigate, define and resolve complex issues. Assists in other areas of IT process, service and project.
- Communicates and can present information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to Influences customers, whilst participating in activities relating to own area of expertise.
- Makes decisions which influence the success of projects and team objectives.
- Collaborates regularly with team members, users and customers. Engages to ensure that user needs are being met throughout
- Plans, schedules and monitors work to meet time and quality targets

Knowledge:
Best practice application management in line with ITIL Processes
Experience of working with the multiple versions of SharePoint
An experienced individual that has worked in a similar role or environment for at least three years
Deep understanding of application development and promotion into multiple environments
Wide business knowledge and experience gained across multiple sectors for enterprise solutions
Experience managing Stakeholders, Senior Managers, vendors
Experience of using 3rd party tools such as but not limited to Nintex, K2, Sharegate, Linkfixer

Skills:
A high level of experience in supporting the delivery of projects and large change requests
Ability to frequently manage changing priorities and multiple stakeholders, but to keep end-objectives in sight
Effective leadership and coaching skills with the ability to lead and influence across high performing teams
Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external partners and working within cross functional and remote teams
Highly organised, motivated and detail conscious
Can do attitude, with impact and influencing style
The natural ability to work in a collaborative, team focussed environment
Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation) in both formal and informal settings, articulating complex ideas to broad audiences
Excellent attention to details, ability to closely follow defined process and challenge when necessary
Takes initiative to advance own skills and identify and manage development opportunities in area of responsibility, committed to learning and continuous improvement

Qualifications:
Be trained at least to ITIL foundation and either appropriate ITIL Intermediate or other appropriate capability training (desirable)
Microsoft MS900 (Mandated) AZ900 (Mandated)
