Interim Head of IT & Architecture - 6 months
Location: Hybrid (Midlands-based HQ)
Start: ASAP | Day rate: £500 - £700 Outside IR35

We re looking for a hands-on interim IT and Architecture leader with deep technical and architectural expertise to help guide the business through a period of major change. you'll be stabilising operations, taking ownership of the technology roadmap, and working closely with both the senior leadership team and customer focused internal teams to make sure technology enables excellent products and services.

Key priorities:

Lead enterprise architecture and deliver a clear, actionable technology roadmap
Provide hands-on technical capability across systems, infrastructure and cloud migration
Oversee day-to-day IT operations, ensuring stability, resilience and strong service levels
Drive adoption and user satisfaction for a new core booking platform
Build capability, confidence and structure within a developing technology team
Assess security posture, lead cyber security strategy and strengthen business continuity
Work closely with stakeholders and customers to align technology with commercial, product and service goals

What we re looking for:

Interim IT leadership experience covering both architecture and operational delivery
A strong track record of hands-on technical work alongside strategic planning
Background in customer-facing technology environments with a commercial mindset
Experience embedding large-scale technology change into BAU and driving adoption
Skilled in developing underperforming teams into high-functioning units
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills
